여러 선생님들이 의견주신 바와 같이 lateral 사진상 의심되었던 anterior mass Chest CT 상에서도 관찰됩니다.

 

Chest CT

A heterogenous enhancing mass at the Lt. anterior mediastinum.
The mass abuts the ascending aorta and MPA, without definite invasion.
Minimal pericardial effusion is visible, r/o pericardial invasion.
Unremarkable on the both lungs.

IMP: Anterior mediastinal mass
      DDx) invasive thymoma, thymic carcinoma, Hodgkin's lymphoma (nodular sclerosing)

 

-> 상기 의증하에 Thymus and lung, thymectomy by midsternotomy and wedge resection of lung  시행하였으며
병리결과상은 Squamous cell carcinoma, poorly differentiated 으로 확인되었습니다.
